Assigned to the Washington Field Office Safe Streets Squad investigating the most violent drug enterprises in the Washington Metro area. In one investigation, I led a multi-agency task force and dismantled a national drug network responsible for the distribution of 8 tons of cocaine to cities throughout the United States. The investigation ended with the 3rd largest seizure of cocaine in the history of Maryland. I received the State of Maryland Narcotics Officer of the Year, an International Narcotics Award, and was recognized by the Executive Office of the President of the United States.
